Hey I'm a 15 year old drummer trying to expand my musical background a
little. I currently play in a alt/punk band but I am well rounded in
all areas of music. In addition to this band, I am also starting a
jazz combo with some of my friends. My band director at school tells
us the only way one can learn jazz is by LISTENING.. so that's exactly
why I've come here lol. For those of you "jazzers" out there, what are
some good jazz artists I can get into? All answers are much
appreciated.
